Best BIOS for ICS P3V4X?

Looking to "upgrade" to the ICS P3V4X from the Winbond P3V4X...

Anybody got a handle on the best BIOS for that ICS board?

Is it 1003?

1004 sucked and 1005 for the nuetered Winbond board, I am just not sure which way to go with this..

ALSO, which VIA drivers?

I run the 4.28 drivers they seem very stable for me had no probs although i dont no witch ver i have of the p3v4x i no its the 1 with all the different fsb not the nutered 1 and i use bios ver 1005 also very stable for me

I'd hang fire for a short while and see if there is a 1006 rev.

It seems that the P3V4X has had all sorts of performance issues that should have been sorted by BIOS revisions - but haven't. This is an excelent board thwarted by ASUS who usually make top priority of perfromance tweaking in their BIOS revisions. Strange.

Yes, perhaps I should hold on to the 1003 for now... 1006a Beta is up at Asus' site (thanks Andy), but I think it best to wait for the final...

SO, am I to assume that the new BIOSs are compatible with BOTH VERSIONS of the board?
