Hey my dad just gave me my weekly "good kid money". So whats the coolest thing I can get for my PC for 50 bucks? Please give my some input.

Peaze out,
~B.P.

you've got mad fans...

buy or make a fan controller, or baybus. I have the vantec 4 channel.. it's alright if you get a decent working one. They're only like 25 bucks too.

Ooo... 2 for $50 ;)

more fans???

I would save the money for something else. Theres not much you can buy at BestBuy for 50 bucks.

Compusa and performance PC parts shouldnt go together in a sentence. Overpriced and mediocre is the words.
If you really want a upgrade your system needs, save money for another good boy advance and get a good monitor. at 50 $ a week you should have a good looking monitor by the end of the month.

Hey a local guy:D . Got to fry's in Arlington and pick up a stick of pc2700 512. Good deals there. Much better than best buy.

I seem to be off of the "good kid" payroll. I'll have to talk to the parents about that one.;) I might have to "quit," since i'm not recieving my paycheck anyway.

Save it up, and get an iPod.

Saving for a couple of months for a new monitor looks to be your best bet, just by checking your specs in your sig. (15 incher?!?!?)

A good monitor is something you will IMMEDIATELY appreciate. You'll love it. You will be very happy. You will not be disappointed.

Another 256 megs of RAM isn't a bad idea, but $50 is probably a LOT of money to you (I know it was to me when I was a kid)...and another 256 megs of RAM might not add a huge performance boost. Will almost certainly add some performance, but might not be as much as you hoped for.

You can get a decent 19 inch CRT for around $200, a very nice one for not too much more. 4 inches bigger than yours might not sound like much, but believe me, it's a WORLD of difference.

If you dont know what to spend it on then save it. The only thing thing you might need is a monitor (actually you definately need a monitor). Save up for a $2-300 19in CRT.

Everything else depends if you play graphic-intesive games/ take up all system resources frequently. But you definately need a monitor.

OH MY GOD...I hate to brage but my friend just bought my Autococker(paintball gun) for $650.00.YAHOOOOOOOOOO...Im going to get a 19in flat screen, and some more DDR!!!!!!! Hey WOODS is your name Harrison?? If so this is Brandon, but if not then ..Hello all my name is Brandon:p Oh yea they just opened a new Frys about 10-15min from my house here in ol' FlowerMound!

if you really must buy something now (like me, i just can't hold on to money for long lol) then i would suggest either a 256MB stick of ram or a larger PSU. if you can wait then like other people said, save up for a nice 19 inch monitor.
