I have built my computer about a year and a half ago and they only piece of hardware used from the old rig (excluding a dvd drive) is the ram which I bought from best buy (worst decision of my life, waaay over priced 200 dollers for 1gig!! ) and I kept the ram in my system because I payed so much for it.
On my old system I used to get error code #132 (which is saposidly due to memory errors), since I have a new rig it eliminates the mobo, cpu or gpu as the culprit. So is it the memory?!
+could faulty ram cause your mobo system to mess up? Like damage the mobo? My old rig crashed every single time (clean installs, hard drives wipes ect.) until one day it stopped turning on.
