Yes, though DDR is sometimes preferred in overclocking, the P4 was used to utilize RDRAM best, and therefore, RDRAM is best equipped to handle the bandwidth-hungry P4. DDR is good, but IMO, RDRAM is better, and thus I'd go with the i850 or i850E when it comes out. The P4 is a dog with SDRAM though, I wouldn't even consider it for someone like us who wants every bit of performance possible from their computer.
well, now im a tell ya, i scored 9742 on 3dm2001se, at 2300, with rambus, i will be sick at 2500. dang, i didnt know it was like that. now i got both, ddr, and rambus. yeah baby.

I would like to hear your take on both setups' performance. I'm trying to decide to go with a TH7-II (i850) or an EPOX 4bda2+ (i845D). I'm going to have to buy RAM anyway so I really don't mind either since they are around the same $$. I don't care about raw mhz. I want the best all-aroud performance.(period)
