Sorry if its a bit of a mess i just copied and pasted it.

I was thinking of getting the Corsair 2GB DDR XMS3500LL Pro twin X(2x 1GB) CAS2, as im spending so much on a pc the extra few quid doesnt bother me.

There is so many to chose from and i just want a little advice to see if the one ive selected is the best etc

Id like to get corsair because i know other people who have it and say its amazing etc, i also need ram thats in the UK. Is the corsair that ive chosen best suited to my pc build?

Any other comments about the build aswell?

well you wont beat that price and most other will tell you the same things about corsair, find that ram in the UK and see if it beats corsairs prices, gskill beats everyones around here, average price for a decent set of PC3200 2gb corsair is $250+ where as the gskills are PC4000 and $50 less....

That one does beat the price by £60 (gskill £150 and Corsair £210) but there is also other corsair available at the same price as the gskill. And to be honest i dont mind spending a little more considering im spending so much on a PC.

i would buy it simply for the advantage of getting ddr500 out of the box for overclocking... i dunno how much further they go, most people get ddr540 out of the gskills or higher...

I dont understand what you mean by "best corsairs for my system"

Price wise and the fact that they are ddr500 is good enough for any system and I would get them over any other corsairs 2gb kits that I have see so far honestly, most or corsair line doesnt impress me... I would still take the gskills over those.

what I meant by best corsair for my system is basically exactly what you said...
The 2gb kit that would preform best.

I will also look into the G skills if i decide not to get the corsairs

At least some of the Corsair line uses the Micron fatty D9s (is the samples I have comes across are any indication, they also have the top-notch stepping) whereas I'm not sure any of the G.Skill does. Pricing aside, the D9s don't impress you at all?
