Anyone know what board will most stably do a 150Mhz+ FSB? I'd like to run it at 150Mhz with the 1Ghz AXIA I'm getting even if I can only hit 1200 (150 x 8)....

The Asus A7M266 would be top on my list and then maby the Iwill. The Asus is very expensive so I would wait a while for prices to drop. Stay away from the ALI chipset since they are even slower than a Kt133 chipset board.

I wouldn't wait too long on the A7M266, as they've apparently been discontinued.

It seems that the only DDR board still in the running is the Iwill KK266(R), cause the Asus is no longer gonna be made due to bugs or something-Iwill is on top right now and they arent that expensive

Dont forget about the asus A7A266, ive heard mixed reviews as of speed, but more have said it is faster then the AMD760 then it is slower, but ive never actually seen any benchmarks... My friend has an asus a7a266, it was incredibly easy to install and incredibly stable, so hes in love. Im porbably ordeing mine this weekend!!

Ive heard that the Iwill is more stable due to it has been around longer, but i hear that the Asus will hit a higher FSB then the Iwill with the same memory

Go with Asus A7A266 . I don't see any reasons why you should not be able to run 150mhz RAM on this board.. Plus as others have mentioned this board is STABLE !!!. Even when WIN crush you just Restart PC and that is it. I had Iwill KA266 R before and every time WIN would crash I had to UNPLUG the PS cable from motherboard, and plug it again in order to Restart my PC.... And No unpluging the outside power cable did not help. Also had some issues running 2 x 128 mb PC2100......

Go with ASUS...... It now only costs $130 ...

Although I like the ASUS boards, I've been playing with an FIC AD11 lately. It looks promising, DDR, FSB, multiplier adjustments etc.AMD 761 chipset. Not very expensive. I've had it up for about a week so far. It's been stable, had a 1.2-C @ 1470 on it, DURON 600 @ 1100 (8*137), on it now. Seems to run on par with my A7V133. I'm going to have to see what advantage the DDR gives me in the "real world".

hey I had my Iwill Ka-266-r mobo up to 1460 at the highest fsb setting and had no problem what so ever

that what in the winter when my temps where low=[
now its 107f!! and no ac

this board is rock solid with prime95 for 6+ hours strate with no crashes
and ali has a fast enough chipset for any games, apps, ext you can do and I have now problem getting 10000 on 3d mark 2000 with my gf2 ultra at stock speeds and memory setting in the mobo at the highest setting

so stop talk bad about this ka-266-r board it is great for almost any o/c the only problem is that you cant get past 146 fsb but anywhere higher is almost too high for any other drives to ever work and I have even heard that your bench mark scores go down after you hit 150 fsb frankly because your pushing the memory to the limits

EPOX 8K7A + is the cheapest 760 board out there. It has all the goodies for overclocking also. Checkout socketa.com for a review.

The EPOX does look like a good board. I'm ordering one today.

Where do they sell the one with RAID? Only seem to have non RAID available.

Also, anyone know if the Abit KG7-RAID is better? Or if its even out yet??
