Best External HD for $100?

I need an External HD for my laptop/Xbox360. What's the most I can get with the best performance for $100 or less? Size is also an issue but I don't need something absolutely tiny but would of course prefer it.

Don't buy an external hard drive. Buy a hard drive enclosure for $25 and buy the largest hard drive you can for $76.

Yea go with the external enclosure and HD. Last week Compusa had a hitachi deskstar 250gb harddrive for 70 dollars, awesome if you ask me. Better than the egg sometimes

They are mostly the same. I just buy whatever looks good for cheap.
