Sorry if this has been asked before, but whats the best brand/model of gf4 4200s under $200 on newegg? i've heard good stuff about both albatron and gainward gs', but then ive heard bad stuff about the gainwards (overheating issues).

Im willing to oc but not willing to replace any 'sinks or fans.

Thanks for any help

I use the VGA EVGA|GF4 TI4200 128M with VIVO/TV out RETAIL BOX.
Part#128-A4-NV78-S1
That's how it's listed on newegg and I love it. I let nvidia scan my system and my scores rocked. According to them even if I went to the TI 4600 it would only improve my system by only 4% and so far I've never heard anything bad about them in the 3 months i've had it. I tried the Gainward first and returned it in a week cause it got too hot and would freak out. If you look at my profile you can see what my system specs are. Hope this helps.

i have heard a lot of good stuff about the
albatron cards. Apparently they OC very well, and almost all go to at least ti4600 speeds. If they ever have an Albatron ti4200 turbo for cheap, you might wanna get it.............

daRock has one at 308/610 core/memory - hasnt tried higher yet, i dont think.
Kato has his at 330/720 core/memory. i think that says enough for the albatron ti4200p.

it is an ausome card - and is what ill be getting next

sweet, thanx guys. so im gathering that the gainwards golden samples aren't quite as fast/qualityish as the Albatron Turbos? That's my issue.
