Hi eveyone, just wandering what everyone opinions on a mother board combo would be. Im looking at 1.2ghz proccessor with 256 pc 2100 ram. I just cant decide what mother board combo I want to get with this. I want it to all cost below 270 with ram and cpu. Any suggestions? I have been looking at epox, gigabyte, fic ad11, and asus. Prices and websites if you have any.

Thanks Ron

I've had good luck with the Epox 8K7A board. Newegg.com sells it for $125. Good DDR boards don't get much cheaper than that. I think you can still find the FIC AD11 for $109 if you really need the cheapest. 256MB of Crucial PC2100 DDR RAM is $60 shipped. That leaves around $100 for a CPU. A little tight for a 1.2 Tbird but you could easily get a 1.0 and it would overclock just as well. The only reason I bought a 1.2 was because I heard many came factory unlocked and mine was unlocked.

epox at newegg for 125shipped? or 135
crucial 2100 for 60shipped
1.2tbird for 110.95 shipped look in cyberdeals for my post and for linkage!

total 295.95-305.95 close but not quite 270

also use the www.crucial.com/webpromo to save another 5%. so 292.95 or 302.95! I think that is your best bet!

If i were you i would buy the iwillkk266 107 bucks plus 1.333 gighertz $135 at newegg.com
Thats what i plan on doing soon
ram is like 40 bucks at crucial

Actually now I am not getting one. I'm getting the one in my signature. It was supposed to arrive yesterday. UPS is so friggin slow. I wish I didn't need a new one anyways.
