I want to be able to overclock, not radically, just a bit. Also, what's the best cpu cooler for this cpu?

Here's a headsup - The ABit KG7 has great problems recognizing a 1.4Ghz T-Bird, so that's a no no until the BIOS gets corrected.

Look at the MSI DDR boards, and the EPoX ones too. Foget the ASUS (very poor releases for ASUS) and Gigabyte ones. Read many reviews and then make up your mind. There is a lot of information out there to be read - don't take advice from any of the idiots like me in here !!!! What I'm trying to say is that for whatever reason, people become biased or over favourite and don't give a fair view.

You might want to think about a IWILL board. I have the KA266-R, and it was great untill I fried it by accidentally switching the PS voltage to 200 verses the standard 115V.

wild_andy_c,
As a Senior and respected Member, I do not feel that your response is warranted. "don't take advice from any of the idiots like me in here!!!"
If the people that come here looking for input as to what to fix, purchase and/or dump, cannot trust our collective advice, what is the use of the forums.
Of course people are biased or opinionated, that is human nature. It is not necessarily an unfair view, it is their humble opinion.
For someone that has their own website, you seem pretty opinionated. What are your reviews and etc. ?? Total fact? NOT!!

I have only heard good things about the Epox 8K7A. I have a FIC, which I desperately want to replace. It's a good board, but not great for ocing.

People shouldn't be so serious on this forum. It's a labour of love!!

KG7-raid? Did you get one yet? I am have been waiting forever. Please let me know where you got one or read a review on one. I have been looking all over the web and no one has an indept review that I know of.
