Of course, the Tornado is the best. But it's also as loud as a vacuum cleaner. What are the altrernatives? Of course, I want a powerful fan, but a quiet one also.

Thanks guys.

Any Panaflo 92mm, Enermax adjustable 92mm, SmartFanII 92mm. The Panaflo and Enermax can be fairly quiet when undervolted, and the SmartFan pushes more air than both the Enermax and Panaflo, but is also louder.

Another Sidewinder exclusive, the FFB0912HHE is the quietest 92mm triple bladed fan available. Compared to the FFB0912EHE and Vantec Tornado, this fan uses a third of the power and is over 10 dB quieter, and it does so without a fan controller.
Delta 92x38mm FFB0912HHE
Specifications: 92x92x38mm, 71.69 CFM @ 3200 RPM, 42.5 dBA, 4.20W, .35 amp, 12v

Then I might just get another Smart Fan II, 'cause I used that for the longest time and loved it's controller...until one of the blades broke off.

if quiet is top priority and you don't mind undervolting with a fan controller then you have almost every fan as an option for the most part. my tornado is quiet at 7v. if you want something at full speed thats quiet then go with panaflos. btw my idea of quiet is around 30db and below. not sure what some of you guys have tolerance for.
