Best RAM for non-overclock AMD Athlon™ 64

What is the fastest RAM for AMD Athlon™ 64 - 3000 and Asus® K8V-Deluxe. I do not want to overclock it but I still want it to run as fast as possible at the default speed.

Will I see a difference between some cheap 2x512Mb PC3200 and lets say OCZ 2x 512Mb PC3200 DDR EL Dual Channel Optimized? The price difference is almost double, is it worth it?

The difference between the cheap and a well known brand is often the quality. With companies like OCZ, Kingston and Corsair youll get more for your money, the memory will usually run faster than rated to if it needs to be and it will do so with tighter timings. Of course if your happy running it with slack timings and thus decreasing memory bandwidth then save yourself some cash.
