ive got the ASRock AMD 990FX Extreme9 to pair with the fx8350 an 32gb of the

Kingston HyperX FURY 16GB Kit (2x8GB) 1866MHz DDR3 CL10 DIMM - Black (HX318C10FBK2/16)

an i plan to upgrade from my cooler master nepton 280 to a Aquacomputer airplex radical 4/360, copper fins rad with a triple set of

Cougar Vortex PWM 120 Cooling CF-V12HP

1 set on the out as push an 1 double on the in side as pull so cooling shouldn't be an issue

i love asrock iv used a Fatal1ty 990FX Professional for 6 years an its run great but no more its seems to be very unstable under full 8core load an will crap out while gamein useing all 8core or rendering useing handbrake

i use to be able to do both at the same time

some high to ultra game like crysis 2 on ultra an 3 on high

while compressing video in handbrake

with these settings

constant frame rate of 24

a 2pass avg bitrate 5000 no turbopass

encode tuning set at film encoder profile high

an encoder level at 5.1

most 2plus hour films would take about an 1hour 15mins to complete but i could game at the same time

an not break 52c

while gamein not break 44c

an handbreak 48c

my idle was 27c

all above with a room temp of 68 degree

my cpu setting were at 4.5ghz at 1.3875 volts i dont remember what my other setting were at this point

but now to even stay on let alone game iv got the volts at 1.45 but it still is crap for rendering

an my idle is 32c

gamein load is 46 but not useing all 8cores

i can say it not the cpu because my sister has the same cpu an i swaped them an got the same result good on hers bad on mine

so to anyone please some advice for best possible oc to 4.5 or higher on my new board

thanks

please get us a screenshot of cpu-z, all tabs open, you can open all the copies you need of this.

Blew up a pair of those boards.
VRM section is a hybrid analog/digital setup. Not like the totally digital VRM on the Asus boards.
I can guaranty it's running hot, that's what is driving up all your other temps.
That board was way overrated.

Could never get any of my 8 cores over 4.8
Switiched to Asus boards and now over 5.2, with no other hardware changes.

The IMC of the FX line was never very good above 8 GIG or ram requiring lower speed for stability when over clocking, populating all 4 slots doesn't help either and unfortunately Kingston ram ...... well the FX line never really played nice with them. That is what we have found here in the forums over the last 5 or so years helping people get their OC's working right.

you are right, his cpu might have died, just like mine did.
hid board might be on it's way out, need a cpu to test with.
but I'd start testing ram first, he's adding voltage, driving the temps up.

Why would you copy & paste this when you were asked to submit a screenshot of CpuZ with main window, memory tabs open? We don't need all that other info. Example:
