Best way to overclock video???

Are any better for ATI?
Should I add cooling before touching this one, the card is merely heat sinked

I believe for ATI that Powerstrip is the way to go.

Depending on how the heatsink is attached to that card, you might wanna remove it and drop some AS3 or your favorite thermal grease on there. Companies usually skimp in that department.

Adding a fan will certainly help in your OC quest.

After doing a little reading I think the rage3d is the way to go so I downloaded this one, looks like alot can be done and alot more learning to do naturally.

Is there a way to monitor temp on a radeon 9000?

Well if your mobo has a header to attach a thermal probe, you could use that to monitor temps on the raddy...otherwise I don't know.
