BF1942-Servers.

i just got this game recently, and im looking for a good server. By good i mean a place where people actually have some strategy, and play as a team.

Any ideas?

But we run the desert combat mod on the server. www.desertcombat.com, it should be on .6 within the next day or so

Battlefield 1942 1.45 or 1.5 required
I think i installed a patch, but how can i check what version i have?

In the main menu of the game when it launches it will show you what version you are running in the lower, I believe left corner. 1.5 is the latest and recommended to have.

if i install desert storm, will i still be able to play the original BF1942 online?

Yes you can install Desert Combat or even EOD and still be able to play plain BF.

I have heard that there is almost no good servers for BF1942. When I get the game (should be in a couple of days) I guess I will see.

Also, do you need any password or anything to get into the OCG servers?
