BF6 does not show RPMs

A BF6 based system that I assembled for a friend is making some trouble. He had some issues with the CPU fan, which seemed to be stuck at start-up, resulting in high CPU temps. We moved the fan from header 1 to 3, and the fan is running better now, however the fan's RPM display is unavailable in the bios as well as (logically) in MBM is shows 0 or N/A.

Has anyone here experienced this ?
