The Big Typhoon manual (such as it) mentions installation for all the common setups, but it has a couple that have me wondering. It has instructions for something called K-7 and K-8...are those references to AMD?

It's AMD compatibility is:

A64/A64 FX
Athlon XP up to 3400+
AMD Sempron up to 3400+

I am planning on A64 4000+ for s939. I imagine that BT will fit on my DFI board, but the K-7/K-8 sort of have me stumped. I was just wondering if it was an AMD thing, or something else.

K7 are all socketA chips including durons, odler semprons and AthlonXP's.
K8 are all athlon64 and newer sempron chips ( socket754, 939 and 940 ).
