Just installed BT with arctic silver 5. How tight are you suppose to install it? I held down one side with my finger while tightening as suggested on one site and seemed to work...but the temps jumped up 40 degrees C. Any suggestions? This monster is so huge I don't won't to keep taking it off and on if I don't have to.

That was idle...ouch!
I tightened it and it dropped to 39/40 in a warm room (heater, PCs, TV, etc.). It did have a little movement in it. (thanks) I was getting those low temps with the stock fan and a cool room (idle) but I understand that you really need to run a burn app to see the benefits of the BT. (The new bios dropped it 20 degrees C.) I'm hoping the Arctic Silver 5 will also bring it down a few more points soon.

Now, if I can only get the p5wd2 to recognize the 4gb of PQI ram at the right frequency (667 vs. 533). It will recognize 2 sticks but not 4 and crashes the bios when set to 667.

I do have to say...This Puppy is quiet!
