Most certainly "Yes". I've never seen a BIOS exclude current CPU compatibility. While looking at the BIOS info for your board, it adds the AMD AGESA and system performance. The AMD AGESA patch "extends" compatability to the 5000 series CPU.

A couple of years back, that's exactly what happened to some x470/b450 boards with the smaller (16MB) BIOS and CPUs that could only address the first 16MB anyway. On those boards, the latest bios dropped support for the oldest gen cpu so the BIOS could fit on the 16MB chip.
