k, i have a pretty cheesy bios in this computer... K6-2 500, (it's actully a 586 BIOS)... i have a 686 BIOS from my ol' 440ZX intel board that i stabbed... so i was wondering...
can i switch these bad boys??
there both V4.51PG award Modular BIOSes.....
this is an alladin 5 SS7 board.

but here i can catch the eye of someone with knowledge on this subject!

duh!
what r u smokin', there shadow???
and...
WHY AINT YOU SHARIN'!!!! :D

No. The BIOS is very specific to the chipset being used and the actual motherboard design. You can sometime use a BIOS chip from a similar board to boot up a system for a Hot Swap BIOS flash, but what you're thinking about will never happen.
