Hi, I'm brand-new to overclocking and I recently noticed a setting in my bios called "thermal throttling". The default setting is 50%.
What does this feature mean? Would there be any benefits to changing it?
It means when your bios detects the cpu temp is to what you have it set at it will reduce the cpu useage by 50%
Wont help anything just make sure you have the temp warning set higher than your cpu hits under max load.
