Today we'll take a look at our first DDR4 LGA 1700 motherboard, the Biostar Z690A Valkyrie. This time around, we have the option of DDR4 or DDR5 boards but not both, so keep that in mind. Most manufacturers make it quite clear which memory works in their system, but there's still an opportunity for mismatched hardware. Just be attentive when ordering parts for a new Alder Lake-based system.
