This is my mini blog of Black Friday,

Woke up at 4:30AM EST, go to Toys R Us at 5AM when they open, small line nothing major, 20 Wii's, me and about 4 other people got a Wii, went to the mall and macy's and target, called 5:30AM Toys R Us Sold Out of Wii's.

all in all the hype for Black Fri, not much, However Macy's Holy Sh*t, you want busy, that is the place to be, anyways guys i am going to sleep and going to go play with my Wii (no pun intended) later



BTW. I will be Ebay's my Black Fri Recept for the Wii, make a couple of Bux at least.

i would like to say, i managed to get up at 5:30 this morning, went to eb games, stood in line for about 30 minutes to get a FREAKIN WII MAN!

I feel your pain man. I know I'ld probably get all those games in the action pack eventually, but dropping 600 bucks in one shot is a bit much.

Yea my Toy's R US had like 26 and they were sold out within 30 Mins. i Got really lucky, i called on Wed. they said that they might have them on Fri. so i went. Yup, I am Selling the reciept, and your right a stupid person will buy it but WTH, i need to make some money. , Also there was no line at Toys R US for the Wii, just to get inside and it was short, but a millitary load of cars came through after me. now time to go setup my Mii

You're aware that eBay may not honor the auction if you sell just the receipt, right? They've been doing that to the people who're selling only pictures of the PS3, or boxes that used to contain a PS3.

Selling a receipt to purposely trick people into buying it is pretty low. Have some dignity people.

As far as Macy's goes, I was there on Tuesday getting a belt, shoes, and shirt for a job interview and I talked to the sales guy. He said people mob the place on Black Friday even though they don't have good deals there.

I didn't knw Ebay wouldn't honor it, oh well. and i wasn't trying to Trick anyone by selling the recipt, how many people you think got a Wii today? not many since every single other store didn't even get a shipment in. So by selling the recipt it could be ocnsidered a collecters item. not going to ifnd many recipts for the nintendo Wii dated 11/24/06. So i do ask you to back off as you didn't even know my intentions. As for ebay honoring or not, if they will then great, if not then oh well, how much was i gonna make on a recipt really? the most 3 bux

Isn't the serial number part of the receipt? I know that Nintendo hardware "registers" for warranty when you buy it.

hey mils, i would say to hold onto that reciept. i have all the faith in the world in nintendo consoles, but this IS the first gen wiis. what if it fries, and then you cant return it? hmmm.... might be worth more than teh 3 bucks from ebay.
