Well I was *supposed* to have an IC7-Max3 coming for me today via FedEX overnight, but it didnt..and guess what, their site claims it was delivered!? I am certain there was no FedEx vehicles at my house at all today, for my mom was home and she saw nothing. I checked all over the usual places where they leave packages and there is nothing. I am guessing (hoping) that they simply forgot it at the station, but I cannot be certain. Anyway, I called FedEX and they said they would "investigate" it, but I'm not sure how much I believe them on finding it. I am going to call NewEgg tommorrow in order to tell them that I never received the package, and I might have to call my cc company as well. Gah what a pain in the balls, especially if it doesnt come tommorrow. Any other suggestions as to what I should do? Sorry if this is a bit off-topic, dont know where else to put it (and cant access the other general computing forum :( ).

Well if thats the case I hope whoever got it in my neighborhood returns the package :(

More than likely the driver delivered it to the wrong house. But I know sometimes the UPS guys are bad about parking the truck down the street and just running to each house they deliver. Sometimes they won't even knock. It leaves a pretty big opening for someone to walk up there and grab it for themselves.

But thankfully, Fedex never does this. :) I have faith that they just delivered it to the wrong house.

yikes. . . wait, that gives me an idea. hmm, free hardware (drool). maybe i can have some holiday cheer in the form of free crunchers.

If you have the tracking number, you can find out who signed for it at their website. I have, on occasion, found that F. Rontdoor has signed for packages, but Fedex doesn't usually do that.

I had that same problem once, but it was with UPS, I believe. All I did was call them and luckly they were able to talk to the driver. He did deliver it to the wrong business, luckly the person working the desk realized that and the next day the UPS guy picked it up and delivered it to me.

Thats what you think....

If you call your CC company and say you didn't get it the package then all the store has to do is give the tracking number and they are off the hook. You are the one that has to prove you didn't receive it since you claim it wasn't delivered and UPS, Fedex, etc does. If it was that simple to get a new product then everyone would do it. Of course fedex, UPS, and online stores know this and pretty much ignore it when there are claims like this.

That's why it pays to check the signature and who signed. If it ain't you, then you have proof.

As long as they shipped it with signature required. If they did and Fedex dropped it off without a signature then you may have a chance (as long as they don't have you on file for waiving a signature when its required).

Yeah I know how you feel, im wating on a big order from new egg, the shipping cost more then all the products, overnight and yet it has be 2 days now, the woman on the customer service line a sured me it would be here today, ohhhhhhhhhhhh isn't there a simpler wayy.

EDIT: I just got the mobo! They delivered it three houses down in my neighborhood..morons. Merry Christmas to all!

Point is, Newegg always ships signature required. As much for their protection as yours.

rogue3092, good you got it so quick, and problem solved.
