Having this mic a few days, it sounds fantastic. I've been using the Logitech C922 webcam since day one, but rarely, if that, use the webcam part. Was just using it for the mic while gaming or if my grandkids wanna group call. Sounds alot better coming through the PC audio when it's 6 people all yammerin' at once and you're trying to answer everyone's questions (especially the grandkids, lol).

Only gripe I got with it is, it doesn't turn off. Even when the rig is off, mic stays powered on by red led on the front. Pain in the butt unplugging and plugging back in to use it. You would think a mic like this would have an on/off switch aside from the other buttons it has. I had thought the front led button was the on/off, but it's the mute. You can mute it, and blinking is when the mute is on. Still stays powered on. Yeah no on/off switch is a bummer.

I'd hate to mod a switch to it. Maybe I'll add small switch to the usb cable itself instead of modding the mic. Should be easy enough.

Looks like I'll need another cable to try my mod on.

*Edit*

Looks like I found a work-around. Picked up a usb/mini usb on/off switch for a Raspberry Pi which will be easier to mod the ends. I'll just add a female usb plug and I can make a jumper cable which will have the on/off switch already installed.
