BO Shrink

What exactly does this mean? I hear talk of BO shrink and Non Shrink. Just wondering.

B0 is a stepping ID. Stepping is a revision of the process used in production of chips. "shrink" is not a full stepping change but a shrinking of the component size between steppings..

Intel reduced the size of the core and also fixed some errata.
