I am currently set up in ABIT KT7a and 1ghz Tbird. I have 2 maxtor drives setup in Raid but with no data in yet. I am currently booting thru my primary IDE channel. I also installed win 98 in the Raid array and I changed all the booting devices to ATA 100 RAID int he bios and also went into the raid Bios andset it as boot disk but I still can't boot off raid any ideas?

I guess win installed the boot sector on your ide drive (not the raid array). One way to get this to work is to disconnect the ide drive, and do a clean install of win on the raid (boot of floppy or cd). After that you can connect the Ide drive again and choose in Bios if you boot from the ide (hdd0) or raid.

I did this and I got quad boot system, win98 + win2k on raid, and win98+Linux on ide.

Remember if you want to dual boot you have to put win9x/me in first since it's install overwrites whatever in the boot sector rendering other OS unbootable.
