See sig for rig details...

The only lead I have is this generic guide to OC'ing the chip but I suspect there's more to it than that?

http://rog.asus.com/19262015/overcl...ng-core-i7-6700k-on-the-maximus-viii-extreme/

I Tried just the basic RealBench quick run and went up to 1.35v @ 4.7ghz.

I didn't do any stress testing yet because I'd like to see if there are other BIOS settings I should be looking at?

Man I'd love to hit a stable 5.0ghz but I think I'm shooting a bit too high...

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Doubt you'll go farther with that D14, 4.7ghz at 1.35 is really good. Usually if you can pull 15m/8gb-16gb (your max ram) test, hes ready for anything but 1h seems to be the general consensus on Realbench 2.43 :)

Yeah I've been doing some testing and 4.8 is hard to do...

I'm still just learning so we'll see but I think I might take a different approach and try to hit a 4.5 with the lowest possible Vcore

So far I've decided to do a 4.5 and I'm pulling back the voltage...

I'm currently at 1.24 and according to HWiNFO 1.248 and it seems stable.
