OK now I know that superlocked processors cannot change the multiplier, that there is no way of unlocking it and that the only way around it is the limited success powernow mod.
What I would like to know though is if I can do other bridge mods to a 0410 Duron. I have one that I got for crunching with mainly and a cheap board. The problem with the cheap board is the voltage options, +6%. It's an Asrock K7S41 if anybody cares.
Now the thing is, that 1.6 GHz Duron will do 2 GHz easy. Some have been known to do over 2.4 GHz. But to do 2 GHz I'm going to need more than 1.5 +6% volts. If the board recognises the CPU properly, then it will only give it 1.5V, but if I can make it think it is a Palomino say I'd get far more. I'd like to do bridge mods to change this to something like 1.7V or so. But I don't know for certain if I can still do this to a locked Duron, and if I can, what bridges need modding. So if anyone can tell me if it can be done, and where to find out what bridges do what, it would be very much appreciated.
Edit - Never mind. I found something in the FAQs, I must have missed it before.
