Hi all

Well i recently broke of a capacitor on an a7a266 board i have,
I went to radio shack and orderd the right one that i needed, got it today in the mail. My question is the capacitor has 2 legs on it one being a little shorter then the other, Does it matter which way i solder it on? is there a reason one leg is shorter then the other?

Thanks for any help

Try posting in the general hardware. I think it has to do something with positive and negative, not too sure bout that!

The longer leg is positive (+) . There was a thread a couple days ago concerning this subject, and the repair was detailed and informative. You may find it under "capacitor". Good luck!!
