When i bought 1gb [kingston 266mhz ddr pc2100 reg ecc] and installed it to my asrock k7vt2 i encountered some problems. After i put the part in my monitor went to stand-by and my motherboard made 3beeps and then paused and repeated. I got onto a rep from asrock and they said to use unbuffered non-ecc ram with the motherboard[altho it says this ram is compatible with the motherboard]. Do i have to send the ram back to america or can i just somehow make it unbuffered non-ecc? thank you
