I don't think you'd have a problem using a newer spec than 1.4 DP. So a 2.1 cable would mean that if you were to replace the monitor at some point with something that used 2.1 you'd be good there.

DP 1.4 supports 1440 @ 240hz... you should be set with 1.4 and above.

Any recommendations? Most of the ones I’ve seen are weird off brands I’ve never heard of I.e. Amazon products
