How do l force my abit to go higher on the voltage then 1.75?
I have tried to update my bios version to xk but the default didn't change. :(
/Thx...

Not sure what you can do to "fix" it. The mobo should go to 1.9v if it doesn't I would return it for a new one. I have never seen a bios update change voltage settings on a bx abit board, bios updates usually fix errors with certain components or processor speeds.

I have answered a Q like this b4. I dont know if it works but cause I havent tried it. But for what it is worth, if you up the voltage to the maximum and then flash the bios you will have upped the max limits of the boards core voltage. Dont forget that the lower end of the voltage will now be increased as well.

That doesn't work, not for me at least .. any other suggestions?

The bios flash up your max voltage trick is good for the bh6, i have a be6 2 v2 wich is a slot version of the bx133 and you cannot do voltage trick. that is where the be6 has an advantage for the oc'er because you can set voltage on slocket. so if it's new return it for a be6 and get a good slocket and bump the voltage.

Live long and frag ur a$$ off.

Look in your manual for the dipswitch settings, there might be a setting that forces the mobo to use cpu parameters...my SH6 has a dipsw, and sw #8 is for "softmenu dissable"...and there are settings for 133mhz,100, yata yata...but I would look in the manual, and look CAREFULLY at the mobo before making changes.
Hope this helps

I checked the manual and .. the only dipswitch settings I can make is FSB and Multiplier, not voltage..

I sent a mail to Abit's technical support, so I'm waiting for an answer ... maybe they have the solution for me, (if they don't who have it ? :))

Actually I have already a solution, (read up on it on HardOCP) but that includes connecting some pins on the processor and I don't want to do that ..

Isn't there anyone who know how to do this? I mean there must be someone! I'm desperate because I know that the CPU would run fine at 900+ if I only could set the voltage a little higher..
