Anybody know if I can safely run the Delta off of my fan header on this mobo? Or am I lookin' at a good possibilty of burning the header out.

Check the site www.coldcpu.com and go to socket 370 coolers....they recomend strongly that you use a 3 to 4 pin splitter cable as you don't you have a very good chance of burning out the fan header connector.

Good Luck

I'm not sure about the header but your ear drums will be shot if you do it.

Sorry, I couldn't resist.

Only the very latest series of MBs will supply the 7K Deltas without burning up. If your MB isn't spec'd for 4W per header, it's NOT recommended. The VP6 is, and I run 2 of them on each MB.

Did somebody say something? I have 5 Delta 7k's right next to me along with 10 other blowers...

Eardrums are shot already from years of shooting without ear protection. Guess for once this works to my advantage.....:):)
