call of duty and crashing...

i noticed when i played call of duty my computer would crash, (thx ati cats 3.9 and vpu recovery) but only to vid card i know because vpu recovery stoped the whole computer from freezing is there a patch for this?

Try to disable "fast write" in control panel. I had problem with COD too, until I turned "fast write" off. Cata 3.9 has serious problems.

No kidding. Not trying to hijack or anything, but I was having problems with Cat 3.9 as well but in BF1942. When I updated (even tried Omega 3.9) my viewing distance was down by about 75%. I had it set to max and wasn't able to see hardly at all hehe. Switched back to 3.6 and no probs

COD used to crash on mine but when I upgraded to Beta 3.10 it works just fine.
