I am woundering if im really O.Cing my cpu? I have an msi k266pro2 mobo and it came with a program called fuzzy logic 3. does this program really work? The cpu is a amd xp 1700+ and is running at 1466.0 mhz default. thats what fl3 says these are the numbers it gives for default
memory/clock 133mhz
cpu clock 1466.0mhz
agp clock 66.5 mhz
pci clock 33.3mhz

Now when i hit a button called turbo they all go up execpt memory clock allways 133mhz is'nt this the front side bus or am i wrong ? I have put a jpg to show what im talking about when its in turbo mode. oh the turbo button is now gone once you hit it so its not in the pic.

No, the memory clock is the speed at which the chips on the memory module do their work.

The best way to find out if you've actually overclocked any is to benchmark it. I use a program called CPUFSB, it boosted my proc from 1.0 to 1.1. It also boosted my benchmarks, proving that it works. I believe that fuzzy logic works fine.

Oh, ya, once it's overclocked, test it's stability with Folding .
