Can anyone make any recommendation for a pair of in-ear headphones?

Not to late :)
Decided to wait until after my exams before doing anything.

The graph that compares everything is amazingly helpful!
The Head-Direct RE0 sounded nice but then it said it had a lack of bass. That does kinda put me off a bit. Also the fact that I would be breaking my budget by miles :p

Which ones are those? Searched for 580, 600 and 650 in amazon, couldn't find anything relevant apart from a pair of creatvive headphones, are those then ones you're talking about?

Edity: These are earphones I had before.
Obviously nice n cheap but damn they had some pretty nice bass notes :)
Apparently that dudez gives it a pretty low rating which I have to disagree with :p Best pair of earphones I've owned so far.
Now I'm kinda torn between getting this pair again or getting a slightly higher rated pair.

What would peoples here recommend I do? :)

RE-ZERO (100USD, 3rd on my list), RE-0 (80USD, 2nd), and UM1 (110 USD, 1st). Those are the only ones I'd reccomend. A lack of bass typically means accurate bass, or slightly below... and with in ears, I'd prefer a more laid back less powerful bass because that crap is banging against my ear drum. I prefer the UM1 to much more expensive units, easily my fav of all I've heard

I guess he meant Sennheiser HD580, HD600 and HD650.

Yep.

The MkII's are a deffinte improvement over the originals. I read there basicly the CX400's.

Sound cancalation is pretty diecent, cant really remember if its any better or worse than the MkI. Probably about the same.

Small ol mp3 player, hence why I don't want to go for the super expensive ones :p

Also are the CX400s better than the CX300-II?
There's about a quid in it :p

Like I said I have a feeling the CX300 MKII are pretty much the same as the CX400, just relabled/badged/whatever. The 400's look the same as the 300MKII, soooooooooo whatever is cheaper.

the 400's also come with an extention lead, and clip and a dongle thing to wrapp them up on.. that might swing it. The 300MKII only come with the pouch.

The cable thingy isn't really of use to me, never had a problem until now except with them being to short :p

The thing that was swaying me slightly was the crazy earphone shape bit. Are those the enhanced bass things?

I would go for the higher model but apparently they fall apart in a matter of days, not something I want happening!

Alrighty then! Had the CX500's for a few weeks now and they're amazing!

With the bass boosting earpiece (yes they really do make a MASSIVE difference) I expected just to hear the bass notes and to have almost no treble, I was seriously wrong.

I tested a few pendulum songs, prodigy and some bass test thingy.

First song I listened to had a very heavy bass intro and I thought "OK, that's it. There's no way I'm going to hear any treble".
Treble kicked in and it was loud enough, VERY clear and just perfect really.

I commute to see my girlfriend about 3 times a week on a 40 min train journey, I can't hear the general sound of wind due to the passive noise cancelling. Not so good when it goes over rough track but for that you'll have to buy active noise cancelling to get rid of that. Best cancelling out of all headphones I've owned so far.

They're comfy, they come with a little pouch and are pretty cheap. In general very happy with my purchase :)

Really a 9.5/10. Would be 10/10 but it has a sound volume control on the wire that feels kinda flimsy and I have a fear of it breaking and the fact that with the bass earpiece in it is kinda overly heavy on the bass. VERY clear just to much of it!
