can kt333 boards use ddr 266 ram?

No. You will be able to use your old DDR266. It's all backwards compatible. You can even use DDR200.

All KT333 boards will take PC2100. It just won't perform as well.

Yup. It's backwards compatible. Just don't try to shove som 72 pin EDO SIMM's in there...
