can the stepped base 6002-A used on K8?

Anyone know 6002-A can be used on K8 platform when using sk8 kit? Ths in advance!

According to a chart about 1/4 way down the page on the 6000 product page, the answer is no. I would assume that the answer is probably the same for the 6002, since the only difference is the port size.
