What do ya think?

Yes. thats a flagship AMD PC.

Although mixing the card brands.. Did nVidia change something too allow their cards to be used for physX when a ATI vendor string is indentified? Last I heard there was hack around it, but it was written out in further driver updates.

I think if you want dedicated physx, just go with 2 nVidia cards.

Yes. You could probably get away with an 850 watt psu, as long as its quality.

You have to use hacked drivers for physx if you have an ATI card in your system. Nvidia is a pain in the rear like that.

very nice build :) drooling a little here :)

personally though i'd get abit more memory 6 or 8gb. As 4gb is fine atm but it is behind the specs of the rest of the PC really.

if you want a PC that is fine for the moment you can do it a lot cheaper.

Also I would look at the ATI pipeline - a few months ago when I was looking there was already rumors of 6XXX series. I would be gutted to buy a 5970 then a few months later it be outdated. (dont get me wrong it still could be ages away - Im not uptodate with gfx cards atm, I stopped reading up on them after the 480 release.

finally, very nice SSD but I like having 160gb - so I can install a selection of games etc. My storage is just for films+music+pictures etc (and a backup of important documents)

I surpass 80gb very quickly myself by the time windows etc+a few games are installed. Games aint small anymore (i.e. sc2 is 12gb)
