I currently have an ASUS P2B motherboard running a p2-350 cpu

My problem is that i cannot flash the bios of this board since the file off of ASUS's website gives me a .awd file. When booting with the bootdisk, when i attempt to run the flash file, it will not run it. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

I assume you used Asus's Flash utility. Did you get the error message "Bios hook not found" . ? Thats the error I got when I tried to flash the Asus BIOS to my HP Pavilion 6370Z PII 350. If you have a Board that was customized by the reseller (Gateway, HP, Compaq etc...) you probably have a custom bios that will only accept a flash update made by them, and they are not likely to provide one thats worth spit for overclocking. I OC'd mine with SOFTFSB to 398.5 Mhz.

Good Luck.

Make sure you jumper for bios flash protection is off. It wont let you flash the bios if its on. Look in your mobo manual or at one on thier web site to see were its located on your mobo.

Maybe your mobob doesnt have this but some do.

hey i had the same problem as you, i also have a p2b i had to download the windows version of flash and that worked fine.
