CAN'T FLASH BIOS! What am I doing wrong?

I'm trying to flash the new March 14th BIOS, and I've tried it 3 times using 3 different downloads, and 3 different disks. But the same thing always happens:

1- Boot to DOS using Windows ME boot disk

2- At the A: prompt, type "Awdflash"

3- When the flash utility loads, I enter "XPR0314.bin" where it asks for "File to Program: ", and then hit enter

4- At this point, my disk drive starts running and I get the "Please Wait!" prompt from the flash utility, but my drive just keeps running until I end up restarting the computer after about 10 min.

I've flashed the BIOS on this board 3 times previously with no problems. Any ideas?

And yes, I have set the BIOS to Flashable.

I did just like you listed above and it worked for me, i backed- up old bios but i don't think you got to that point. All I can think of is that the dos environment is bad, i used a win98 boot disk , I uploaded it in case you want to try it

I fixed it. My BIOS wasn't holding the "Flashable" option.

Have u had any probs with 2 sticks? , if so did the bios upgrade help that? Im looking to upgrade soon......

I have had some stability issues with 2 sticks when using a high FSB, and yes, this new BIOS seemed to help that.
