Cant flash my KK266

I tried to install the kk0515.bin for my board. It says unknown flash type.
I've downloaded the file twice to make sure it wasnt corrupt or anything.
My BIOS is currently the one for April I believe. Anyone else had ths problem?

double check it is the raid or non depending on your mobo and also if you are using the Alt-F2 method you must enable it is the bios under smart settings.

First make sure that your bios is set to flashable under Iwill smart settings.

Are you trying to do it using alt f2? I have had this problem and I've been able to get around it two ways one was to use another awdflash (one I had downloaded from an earlier bios. Don't know why that worked but it did. The other was to boot to a dos prompt go into the windows dir where I had put it (bios) and flash it from there using the switch:

kk0515.bin /sn /py /cp /cd /cc /r /ld

I don't think that will work with 2K though (if you cant boot to dos)

Again this is just what worked for me I really don't know if it is dangerous to flash from your c drive. Seems like everybody says to put it on a floppy but I can never get that to work.
