Ok used apache to set up a flash web page. I can see it when I do the localhost in the browser.
heres my setup. I have a linky router and forwarded port 81 (isp blocks 80). Since I dont have a domain name I am trying to use no-ip.com and have the no-ip client on the comp. my no-Ip address is fightingpiper.no-ip.com:81 ( I also did a URL redirect with em at jeffreytreml.no-ip.com).
in the Apache httdp.conf since I dont have a static IP I used for the listen- listen fightingpiper.no-ip.com:81
and used
servername fightingpiper.no-ip.com:81
for the servername.
one of these 2 lines must be wrong for others to view my page.
any hints or advice for a complete noob?
