Is it true that CAS2 non parity RAM must be used on the KT7a-RAID with a t-bird 1GHz ?

The reason I am asking, is that I contacted the vendor my machine, to ask them why it wouldnt boot, thats the reply I got, dont wanna buy more ram if I dont need it.

I don't think so, I can run mine at cas3 with no problem. I don't cause it doesn't give me that much more seeing how I have already pushed my pc-100 memory to 140. It is cas2 memory, but it will run in cas3 mode with no problem. So I think it doesn't really matter.
