Ok guys, new here and need advice. I'm looking for a mid size case. Looks have absolutely no importance. I need something that will be able to hold 3 - 4 hard drives... I would also want it to repel as much dust as possible. Thos are the two most important factors. Thanks.

The Lian Li cases are nice. They have a rack at the bottom-front of the case for upto 3 hard drives I believe. Right in front of the 2 front intake fans to keep them cool. And some, dunno if all of them, have filters for the front fans. These cases look really nice, and they do cost a little more than normal cases though.

i need something a bit more specific... any model you can recommend?

You said 3-4 HDD's that means you are going to be producing some heat, NewEgg has a decent case with some good cooling built in. It's not fancy, but it's cheap. Match it up with a PSU and you should be good to go.

and the link to buy it or see the info, it's the first one on the list part MAXTOP CSX-147K2F-GF-USB-GRAY

Would you suggest the Lian-Li PC-65 with it's 4 built in fans instead? It's kinda expensive at $131, but it has space for plenty of HDD's and seems to have some good airflow going. Thanks for the help.

I use the Lian Li PC-60(one the original to ever be produced), I love it, but it is pricey, the case I suggested has excellent cooling(room for a tons of fans), has the ability to easily mount 4+ HDD's and it's $30 not $130.

peronsally, i just go to the local flea market when they have computer shows. save a lot on shipping that way when purchasing cases, plus you get to actaully see it in person.

Thanks man. I ran across these boards by accident really. I was searching for XP tweaks and somehow I ended up on this board. Good boards with nice people and good tips.
