I live by a Delta
An older proven case that is well priced, built like a tank and weighs as much as one.

6 internal 3.5 bays
2 external 3.5 bays
6 external 5.25 bays

CHENMING 901AD-BLACK-0 Black 1.0mm SECC ATX Full Tower Computer Case

Chenming is the same company that builds cases for Chieftec and Antec.

This is about the largest case you can find for the money (New). If you want more bays be prepared to spend a whole lot more.

You can buy direct from Chenming. I don't know if it will be cheaper or not compared with an online retailer. Supposedly, if you buy a case directly from them, then you could buy parts too.

Here's a mod of the Chenming 601, smaller version of the 901. http://www.vfaq.com/Case/#TopFans

May I suggest the 901A-SSI, the harddrives are held on the top next to an exaust fan. If you buy a couple extra removable hard drive cages that fit over the front fans, that will give you 10 internal hard drive bays plus the 2 external.

hi both of those look good but i already have a spare antec pluse view 100 amg sitting around which has 6 HD bays...

maybe i said it wrong, i need lots of HD bays (3 ½" bays), not the cd drive size ones unless someone can also direct me to an adaptor so a hard drive can fit into a cd drive bay. (and not using that zalman thing as i already have two and they are not cheap!)

like this but not for £5.90!!!

Aerocool Mastige is similar to the CM stacker but a bit cheaper. Might be more than you're wanting to spend though...
