Ok well basicly I got my friend a new cd rom drive cause hers was broken, and now it wont even boot into windows. It just stays at the Windows ME starting windows screen. Plz help me, ive never had ME.

did you set the little jumpper on the back of the cdrom to slave?

No its actualy going to be the master on ide chain 2 so that cant be it, or does ME work like that?
