CD-rom not FOUND !

I am trying to get this old (pentium II, 350mhz) Gateway working, it worked before, and i just installed a different HDD in it, and it would not boot from CD-Rom.
I choose boot sequence Floppy>cd-rom>Hdd.
and while loading i get the following message :
"Sec Master Drive- ATAPI Incompatible Press F1 to continue"

Hmmm is the cables all pluged in power what not?
Does the bois se it?.

Are the CD and Hard Drive on the same IDE cable?

Because you cannot have two devices on the same cable both set to master.

if u have the cd manual u will see jumper settings or go to manufacturers website and contact them for the settings
