Ive got a Cele 1000a running on an st6-raid board and i can't get it to even post running at 133fsb. Most messages ive read say that it should run at 133 with everything stock.
I have a stock hsf and with outside temp of 24C the system temp is about 33C and the CPU Idles at around 36-37 with full load at about 40C.
When i change it to 133 and save the bios the system goes to reboot but the monitor doesn't turn on and it makes a noise like a police car. The only thing i can do is pull the power out for it to default back to 100.
Can anyone help me out as to how i could get this up at 133fsb.

Thank You

Have you tried to increase the voltage? My 1.10a couldn't do 133Mhz at stock voltage. I think you can get up to 1.6v without having to do the wire trick on the ST6. You "should" be able to get to 133Mhz at 1.6volts.

The thing with the sound,, it produces  seems to be more like a ram problem. Are you sure, that you Ram is not set to something like FSB+PCI Clock, which would be 166 Mhz in your case.
My Abit Board has such an option, don't know about your particular mobo.
Hope that helps

Agreed. Increase your voltage in the BIOS, and check that your RAM speeds are correct, also...and you may still have to perform a burn-in on that chip to get higher performance out of it. I would suggest raising the voltage to the maximum that the board will allow, dropping the FSB to 66, and running a stress proggie (like prime95) for a few days, just to break the chip in.

VOLTAGE BABY! :D

Don't know what's up with that siren though, as I had something similar to my BE6, when it got too hot. Anyways back on track, yes you need more voltage to post it, and maybe even more to get it running stable.
